Golden Banana Bread

Golden Banana Bread

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¾ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup Golden Wing® Barley Milk
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1 Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
2 In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3 In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and brown sugar together. Add the eggs, mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and Golden Wing® Barley Milk, and mix until smooth.
4 Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix. Fold in the walnuts, if using.
5 Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
6 Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7 Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
